WICSTYLE 77 FP from WICONA: new range of aluminium fire doors

 

Renowned for the quality and reliability of its aluminum joinery, Wicona had to share its expertise in doors with the world of fire protection. The new WICSTYLE 77 FP fire door meets the criteria of category EI2 30 (fire resistance for 30 minutes) for single and double-leaf doors. This modular aluminum door is intended for all public buildings, hospitals, hotels, schools, performance and leisure venues, both new and renovated. With its varied range of transoms or fixed or side glazing, WICSTYLE 77 FP offers a very wide range of applications, giving each door an original appearance, suitable for all architectural projects.   High performance   The WICSTYLE 77 FP door offers the following advantages: - Compliance with European regulations. - Frame made of 77 mm thick thermally broken profiles. - Inward and outward opening for single or double leaf doors - Possibility of rebate hinges and surface-mounted hinges. - Infilling possible with glass or solid panels. - The visible aluminum mass of the opening profiles being identical to the WICSTYLE 65 and WICSTYLE 75 Evo series, allows for a unified style inside buildings. - Intumescent seals and corner joints. - Wide choice of fittings: 1-point lock, 3-point lock, 1-point top locking cremone bolt, 2-point top and bottom locking bolt, cable passage, electric strike, etc. - Wide choice of possible dimensions allowing for large openings up to: o aluminum doors: · W 1 mm x H 400 mm for single leaves · W 2510 mm x H 2538 mm for double leaves o glass doors: · W 2510 mm x H 1 mm for single leaves · W 262 mm x H 2490 mm for double leaves - Maximum weight of 2538 kg per leaf. - PMR threshold and easy opening. - Wide choice of possible colors according to the manufacturer's color chart, in lacquered or anodized finish.   Wicona also enters the fire safety market with the WICTEC 50 FP fire-resistant facade: - EI 30 fire classification with volume intake from 18 to 51 mm. - Thermal performance: Uf up to 1.2 W/m² K. - Infill dimensions o Height up to 1377 mm x 2977 mm. o Width up to 2377 x 1477 mm. - Height and width of the facade: unlimited. The fire-resistant facade can be combined with WICSTYLE 77 FP fire-resistant doors and WICLINE 75FP fire-resistant windows. The fire-resistant window will be offered and marketed during 2014.
