YVES JALAGEAS, NEW PRESIDENT OF QUALIFELEC

Succeeding Thierry Hénault, Yves Jalageas has just been elected President of Qualifelec, the French organization for the qualification of electrical and energy engineering.

Chairman of the craft commission and member of the board and of the Board of Directors of the French Federation of Electric and Energy Engineering Companies (FFIE), member of the board of PROBTP and of the Board of Directors of BTP Prévoyance, Yves Jalageas signs his term with the renewed objective of promoting and defending the qualification of professional electricians.

It is committed to continuing the modernization of Qualifelec, initiated by its predecessor, and to increasing its visibility as a key player in the professionalization of electrical and energy engineering companies.

Offer a modern qualification service

To carry out this mission, Yves Jalageas plans to finalize the dematerialization of the qualification file, during 2018. The e-file will allow companies to complete their requests directly on the Qualifelec website. The management and the instruction of the files will gain in fluidity and the qualification times will be reduced.
At the same time, Yves Jalageas will work to strengthen the decisive role of the committees, made up of only professionals empowered to attribute qualifications, by significantly increasing the number of representatives.

Promote the Qualifelec label

Recalling the will that presided over the creation of Qualifelec, Yves Jalageas expresses the need to strengthen the position of the association in the current environment. Thanks to the development of digital communication around the website, the President wants to increase the recognition of Qualifelec among building owners and professional electricians.
He is also keen to raise awareness of professional organizations at local level, in order to intensify their presence on committees and recall the interest for their members to benefit from the enhancement of their professional skills through the qualifications delivered by Qualifelec.
