A family SME, founded 40 years ago, the Actis company is developing a cutting-edge insulation concept. She invents the reflective insulators.

In 2003, the company was acquired by the Laurent Thierry group, a manufacturer of technical textiles for the automotive industry.

Since then, Laurent Thierry has continued to invest to promote the growth of his production sites, the launch of new products, the development of ever more efficient, respectful and sustainable technologies.

Committed in the heart of its territory, Actis has retained the location of its production sites in the South West of France, in Occitanie, and thus participates in the economic development of its region.

Demanding, the company obtained in 2005 the ISO 9001 certified, thus guaranteeing the quality of its products and control of production processes.

Innovate to better insulate

A pioneer and innovator since the beginning, the company was the first to develop reflective insulation that was intrinsically waterproof and airtight.

Recently, it invented alveolar reflective insulation, a honeycomb technology whose principle is to exploit the natural insulating qualities of air. ACTIS has built its development and growth around 3 fundamental convictions:

1. Insulation is nothing without waterproofing

   With efficiency losses of up to 75%, airtightness is a prerequisite for the thermal performance of insulation. This is why the company is the first to develop insulation solutions that are inherently watertight and airtight.

2. Insulation must above all be an obligation of results

   Once installed, the thermal performance of insulation may decrease (mechanical settling, impact of wind and humidity).

   It is essential to find, once implemented in a real situation, the expected performances. 

   ACTIS therefore decided to implement dual measurement in real situations and certified laboratory tests.

3. Insulation must be at the service of comfort

   Because good insulation must be good from the moment it is installed, ACTIS offers simple and pleasant solutions to install (light, clean and non-irritating insulation).
