Before any maintenance work, especially in residential settings, a quick and precise visual inspection of the installations is often necessary, particularly in hard-to-reach areas. The testo 318 , the latest addition to the Testo videoscope range, is designed to make such inspections incredibly easy.
This device features a flexible, waterproof, one-meter probe equipped with integrated LED lighting and 10 adjustable brightness levels. This probe allows technicians to inspect confined spaces such as boiler ducts, air conditioning systems, and ventilation systems. It is in this context that Testo presents the testo 317-5 , an ambient carbon monoxide detector specifically designed to meet the requirements of the CNPG (National Center of Expertise for Gas Energy Professionals) and the NF EN 50543 standard.
Since the publication of the December 2023 protocol by the CNPG, all boiler maintenance companies must comply with strict new regulations by January 1, 2025. The testo 317-5 perfectly meets these requirements, offering an accuracy of +/- 3 ppm for CO concentrations ranging from 0 to 100 ppm.
