Forbo Flooring enriches its range of textile floors with Flotex advance & Flotex color

Beyond these proven performances, the Flotex range is constantly reinventing itself and stands out even today with a brand new collection, Flotex advance, which has the advantage of a plural implementation, in tiles (glued installation) but also in strips, a format now benefiting from the innovative Flotex next 100% free construction (therefore without glue or adhesive), knowing that the glued installation of these strips remains possible. Other distinctive features, its two decors, Latitude (13 colors), inspired by watermarks, and Code (26 colors), focused on typography, breathe boldness into layout projects, in a very contemporary spirit. In addition, all Flotex advance references can be recolored to measure, an asset if a hotel or boutique franchise prescribes a specific color code to be declined.  

Finally, this new Flotex advance collection plays in harmony with another collection of character, Flotex colour, whose Calgary (cloud pattern), Metro (trompe-l'oeil "woven effect") and Penang (subtly lined) decors are ideally suited to a number of segments: offices, hotels and restaurants, leisure or educational spaces, retirement homes, etc. 

Flotex advance, a new design step towards free installation

Collection Flotex advance, fully available in stock, offers two new designs that combine aesthetics and functionality. Whether it is the finely lined design of Latitude, inspired by watermarks, or by the almost raised one, typographic style, of codes, Both give an ambiance that is both elegant and soothing to the spaces they adorn. Bold, while playing the card of refinement, the well-being effect they provide is immediate and the arrangements are resolutely in a very contemporary spirit.

Another decorative aspect is that all Flotex Advance designs can benefit from a personalized recoloring service, in strips from 50 m2 and in tiles from 200 m2. Simply indicate your Pantone, NCS or RAL reference, and a sample will be sent in return to validate the rendering. 

In line with its exclusive Fast Flooring concept, which favors installation without glue or adhesive, Forbo Flooring offers Flotex advance the possibility of a 100% free installation, in its strip version, thanks to the Flotex next construction. Remember that this combines a second glass fiber reinforcement guaranteeing optimal rigidity and dimensional stability, with the use of the joining strip characteristic of Modul'up coverings, placed at the joints without peripheral support.

Of course, the glued installation in strips as well as the pegged installation for the slabs continue, in order to be able to respond to all configurations on site. 

Flotex color version 2024

Flotex color is renewed in 2024, displaying a wide choice of colors and shades that gives free rein to infinite creations. Thus, the cloud pattern Calgary panache 17 natural shades of mineral and plant inspiration. The decor Metro, "textile effect", leaves a textured, sparkling imprint on the floors (citrus, lilac, lagoon, Gold Color...) or refined (grey, carbon, concrete, anthracite, cocoa...). Finally, the tones of the lineage of Penang vary as desired, from gray (zinc) to blue (sapphire), passing through green (evergreen), all sharing the same sophistication.  

These three signature designs, Calgary, Metro et Penang, rich in 61 distinct colors, are available in strips (glued installation) as well as in tiles (sticky installation), all in stock.

Flotex in a few words... 

• Comfortable and durable : its short pile, made up of 80 million polyamide fibres/m2 implanted vertically by electrostatic flocking in a recycled PVC backing, provides warmth and walking comfort, and means that it does not sag, ultra resistant to traffic (especially to chairs with wheels).

• In favor of a protected environment: Like many of Forbo Flooring's flooring products, Flotex's composition includes recycled materials, up to 18% in strips (21,8% for Flotex Next construction) and even up to 59% in tiles.
