A compact VRF for projects where space is limited

With the GMV9 Flex , GREE targets buildings where the installation of outdoor units is a constraint. Balconies, roof terraces or technical courtyards often offer little available surface area, which can complicate the implementation of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) air conditioning systems.

The outdoor unit occupies only 0,58 m² of floor space with a thickness of 460 mm . Its air outlets, which can be oriented on three sides, offer greater positioning possibilities, an advantage for installers facing cramped technical rooms or integration constraints.

The system is based on an inverter compressor capable of modulating its power from 10 to 100% according to needs. By combining up to four outdoor units , it can power 80 indoor units with a power output ranging from 40 to 246 kW , making it suitable for both commercial buildings and multi-family residential complexes.

Designed to operate in demanding climatic conditions, the GMV9 Flex provides heating down to -30°C and cooling up to 55°C . A specific start-up mode limits the impact of strong winds, while a corrosion-resistant aluminum heat exchanger and an AI-controlled defrosting system aim to maintain performance over time.

A monobloc R290 heat pump to simplify construction projects

Scheduled for release in 2027 , the Versati V Monobloc R290 features an architecture that integrates all refrigeration components into a single outdoor unit. This design eliminates the need for refrigeration piping between units, thus simplifying on-site installation.

Available in capacities from 4 to 16 kW , this air-to-water heat pump can supply underfloor heating, radiators, or fan coil units. It also provides domestic hot water when connected to a dedicated storage tank.

Its two-stage compressor, integrated expansion valve, and DC inverter motor allow it to achieve an A+++ energy rating while producing water up to 80°C . With Wi-Fi connectivity, it can manage up to six cascaded units with automatic power adjustment. Its Modbus compatibility also facilitates integration into a building management system (BMS).

AIRY PRO focuses on learning usage habits

Also expected in 2027 , AIRY PRO incorporates G-AI embedded intelligence , which gradually adapts its operation to usage patterns. Beyond temperature and humidity, the system takes into account the room's surface area as well as various environmental parameters in order to automatically adjust its settings.

According to GREE, this intelligent management system allows for energy savings of up to 15% . The unit uses a G-Storm 200 Hz compressor , rated A+++/A+++ , designed to operate down to -30°C as well as under high heat and humidity conditions.

The Surfing Louver distributes air over 15 meters while minimizing drafts. A dual defrosting system helps maintain the temperature in cold weather. Control is available via Wi-Fi , Bluetooth , or voice command, and the indoor unit operates at a low noise level of 19 dB(A) . The unit is available in five finishes: white, black, silver, gold, and purple.

The new products presented by GREE at Interclima 2026 illustrate an evolution in HVAC equipment towards simpler installations, high energy efficiency, and more automated control. These features are directly relevant to installers, engineering firms, and building operators who will be integrating these systems into both residential and commercial projects.
