In this context, Zehnder is launching Zehnder Care, a range of maintenance contracts for individuals equipped with a double flow CMV.

The offer is based on a common core of services including:

• manufacturer maintenance carried out by Zehnder certified personnel;
• inspection and cleaning of the ventilation unit;
• monitoring the system's operation;
• software update if necessary;
• access to dedicated telephone support.

This approach aims to support occupants in the technical monitoring of their installation, an operation sometimes neglected in individual housing.

Three levels of contracts depending on the occupants' needs

Zehnder offers its service in three packages to meet different levels of maintenance and after-sales service coverage.

Zehnder Care Basic for routine maintenance

The Basic package covers essential maintenance operations. It includes, in particular, the checking and replacement of filters.

The manufacturer is also offering a 10% discount on original filters ordered through its online store. Regular filter replacement remains essential to limit fouling of the heat exchanger and maintain heat recovery performance.

In high-performance housing subject to the requirements of RE2020, poorly maintained ventilation can degrade hygrothermal comfort and increase the electrical consumption of the ventilation system.

Zehnder Care Comfort for enhanced monitoring of the air distribution network

The Comfort package includes maintenance of the supply and exhaust vents. These elements play an important role in balancing airflow and ensuring even air distribution throughout the home.

This offer also includes:

• 20% discount on filters;
• 10% off spare parts;
• a reduced intervention package outside of warranty.

In practice, the cleaning of ventilation terminals can be carried out by a specialist installer or an HVAC maintenance company in order to avoid the accumulation of dust and aerodynamic imbalances.

A Premium package including parts and after-sales service

The Zehnder Care Premium formula adopts an "all-inclusive" approach. It includes:

• complete system maintenance;
• an additional set of filters;
• the handling of spare parts;
• the after-sales service package for the entire duration of the contract.

This coverage aims to limit unforeseen costs related to corrective maintenance. On connected dual-flow systems, software updates can also help optimize operating settings and system performance.

One operational limitation remains, however: the overall efficiency of the system also depends on the quality of the initial implementation of the duct network and the air balancing carried out during commissioning.
