CHRYSO® GreenDecap and CHRYSO® BioClean

CHRYSO (Materis Group) is launching a brand-new equipment maintenance offering consisting of two complementary products: the environmentally friendly CHRYSO® GreenDecap stripping agent and CHRYSO® BioClean cleaning agent. Formulated without acid, these agents are non-irritating and non-corrosive, and therefore safe for users (safety verified by OECD tests).
Thus, thanks to its strong stripping power, CHRYSO® GreenDecap allows you to disintegrate concrete, cement and plaster or mortars, avoiding the use of mechanical tools often causing accidents. CHRYSO® GreenDecap and CHRYSO® BioClean are also environmentally friendly as they are 100% biodegradable and unlabeled. Finally, regular use of CHRYSO agents helps limit maintenance costs, increase the lifespan of equipment and reduce expenses for spare parts and paint.

CHRYSO® GreenDecap stripping agent and CHRYSO® BioClean cleaning agent, formulated from a synthetic molecule, are non-irritating to the skin, 100% biodegradable and non-corrosive to equipment.
• CHRYSO® GreenDecap has a stripping power approximately 15% more powerful than that of hydrochloric acid. It is capable of removing adhesions from hardened concrete and mortars, surface laitance on concrete, bricks and non-calcareous materials, cement stains as well as mineral stains. It is therefore used for intensive stripping of metal formwork and shuttering, concrete mixers, hoppers and concrete transport tanks, mixers, tools in contact with concrete, etc.
• CHRYSO® BioClean contains a degreasing agent, a detergent, a polishing agent,
a rust inhibitor and a vegetable wax. Designed to remove traces of laitance, various greases and oils, rust, grime as well as diesel and soot stains, it cleans and protects the exterior surfaces of concrete mixer trucks, carpet trucks, pump trucks, cement tankers, forklifts, etc.

Both products can be applied to all surfaces (glass, chrome, plastic, etc.) and painted surfaces.

ECOLOGICAL AND USER-SAFE CLEANING PRODUCTS

• 100% biodegradable ecological agents
CHRYSO® GreenDecap and CHRYSO® BioClean are 100% biodegradable products. According to OECD 202-48 h and OECD 471 tests, they are both guaranteed non-toxic and non-mutagenic. DFE (Design For Environment) certified for direct discharge to the sewer, their biodegradability is complete within a 10-day window. Finally, these products are also listed in CleanGredients (an American database of products that are not harmful to users' health or the environment).

• Safe products that respect users
CHRYSO® GreenDecap and CHRYSO® BioClean achieve an unprecedented level of safety for concrete cleaning and stripping agents. According to the OECD 404 test, CHRYSO® GreenDecap and CHRYSO® BioClean are classified as "Non-irritating to skin" (Primary irritation of CHRYSO® GreenDecap: 0,9 ± 0,2 and CHRYSO® BioClean: 0,51). The two new CHRYSO agents do not produce any acid fumes and therefore pose no risk in the event of contact with users.

MULTIPLE POSSIBILITIES OF USE AND APPLICATION

• Products usable on all types of media
According to US DOT (Department of Transportation) protocols, a material is considered corrosive when the corrosion rate is > 6,25 mm/year on steel. The result for CHRYSO® GreenDecap is 0,2703 mm/year and that for CHRYSO® BioClean is
0,19 mm/year. Due to their non-aggressive nature, CHRYSO® GreenDecap and CHRYSO® BioClean have no negative impact on the various supports (no corrosion of steel, no alteration of surfaces, etc.) unlike agents that use chemical products such as hydrochloric, sulfuric and phosphoric acids.

• A range of tailor-made services
In addition to this new equipment maintenance offering, CHRYSO offers several application systems tailored to the market (BPE or prefabricated) and the need (fixed installation or mobile equipment). CHRYSO goes even further by offering a small 1,25-liter sprayer with a 3-bar pressure, available for drivers.
