Weber launches webermur 115 enaé, a versatile and eco-responsible mortar, designed for more sustainable construction sites.
A new generation of mortar for responsible construction
With the ongoing aim of "leading by example and guiding the construction industry towards more responsible practices," according to Arnaud Tractere, Managing Director of Weber Saint-Gobain, the industrial mortar expert is launching a new solution with a reduced environmental impact: webermur 115 enaé. This latest addition to the enaé "reference" range[1] boasts a 20% reduction in carbon emissions compared to a traditional wall leveling mortar (such as webermur plus).
The enaé range consists exclusively of products with a reduced carbon footprint of at least 20%* and/or a reduced content of at least 15%* in non-renewable virgin raw materials, all covered by a third-party verified FDES, published on the INIES database. *compared to a product with the same performance or area of use.
Intended for leveling, de-bubbling and catching up concrete, on interior walls (and ceilings) as well as exterior walls, webermur 115 enaé offers the advantage of optimal versatility. With excellent spreading on the support, it can be applied in a thin thickness (smoothing) or in a more substantial thickness (catching up). And always with the desire to simplify the daily life of craftsmen on site, Weber has equipped the bags of webermur 115 enaé (20 kg) with an ergonomic handle for easier handling.
An ever more sustainable Weber offering...
Webermur 115 enaé boasts a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions across its entire life cycle (compared to the Webermur Plus leveling compound): a decrease in environmental impact confirmed by an Environmental and Health Declaration (FDES) on the INIES website [1] . It is also worth noting that Webermur 115 enaé is manufactured in France under the "Origine France Garantie" label, promoting short supply chains, optimized transport, and the use of local resources.
With webermur 115 enaé , Weber confirms once again its commitment to ever more sustainable construction and renovation projects!
...without compromising on maximum performance
Versatility is a defining characteristic of the new Webermur 115 Enaé. First, it's worth noting the versatility of the substrates on which it can be applied: concrete, base coats, hollow bricks, breeze blocks, formwork blocks, terracotta, and more. Its application thickness is also versatile (from 1 to 15 mm), depending on the application: leveling and de-airing interior and exterior walls, as well as ceilings, smoothing (thin layer), or even leveling formwork blocks in private swimming pools (thick layer). Finally, it's worth highlighting the versatility of the coatings that can be applied over it , given that it can also be left bare outdoors: paint, thick organic coating (RPE), waterproofing coating, organo-mineral coating, hydraulic plaster, tiles (on a continuous leveling layer of at least 3 mm).
