RUNTAL, designer and manufacturer of designer radiators, is innovating with ARTEPLANO RAKU, a new line of high-end radiators designed by ceramic designer Giuseppe Lorenzi.

The Italian artist has brilliantly taken on the challenge of combining technical requirements and artistic creativity to create truly unique heated sculptures.

An artisanal technique for unique pieces
Giuseppe Lorenzi worked from RUNTAL ARTEPLANOThe smooth and simple surface of this radiator makes it an ideal support on which the artist has given free rein to his creativity to create a unique painting composed of original ceramics.

Ceramics specialist Giuseppe Lorenzi uses the ancestral raku firing technique to create his works of art. Dating back to the 16th century, this firing method originating in Japan, made famous by the raku ceramics used in the tea ceremony, consists of a series of stages of firing, drying, glazing, and smoking, resulting in unique ceramic pieces.

A guarantee of limitless creativity, the raku technique has allowed Giuseppe Lorenzi to create unexpected and inimitable material effects, with brilliance and reflections of great beauty.

RUNTAL ARTEPLANO RAKU radiators come in three themes which have in common the feature of giving the heating body an expressive relief that stands out from the wall on which they are installed.

Available in two heights (180,9 cm and 181,3 cm) and two widths (52 cm and 45,3 cm), in White Quartz or Volcanic finish, they are available in central heating version (power from 780 to 970 watts) and electric (power: 700 watts).

For RUNTAL ARTEPLANO RAKU, Giuseppe Lorenzi masterfully combined natural elements – fire, water, and air – with highly precise, traditional craftsmanship to create radiators that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are efficient. This innovative approach to raw materials serves contemporary art, guaranteeing a zen-like atmosphere.
