In 2023, SEIGNEURIE® , the leading French brand of professional paints, also available to the general public, unveiled a host of new technologies stemming from its CSR Actions+ 2025 commitments. Behind these commitments lies a strong desire to optimize its environmental performance and reduce its carbon footprint. And to mark the start of the new season, the company is demonstrating its determination by introducing a range of five new paint products designed for interior masonry, facades, and, more specifically, roofs.

The battle against carbon

Taking a responsible approach to the climate crisis, SEIGNEURIE is introducing three new paint formulations for interior masonry. These innovations are distinguished by their low carbon footprint, embodying the company's firm commitment to combating global warming.

Evolutex Low Carbon : A transformation of the Evolutex range, where the new formula boasts a 20% reduction in its carbon footprint, thanks to the use of a 98% bio-sourced resin. This eco-responsible initiative would save an impressive 1.422 tons of CO2 annually.
Pantex Low Carbon Following in the footsteps of Evolutex, the Pantex range is also being updated. It reduces its carbon footprint by 10% thanks to CO2 Optimization technology and the use of recycled materials.
Legend : A revolution in practicality and efficiency. Thanks to its single-layer, print-free capability, Légende promises significant time savings for professionals while ensuring superior quality and lower product consumption.

Revolution on the facade side

SEIGNEURIE didn't stop at interior masonry. They also unveiled Garnotec Aero , a technological marvel featuring NPS technology for anti-fouling and OUC technology for colorfastness. This product stands out for its lightness, versatility, and enhanced durability.

In the face of urgent climate change, these reflective roof paints are the ideal ally in combating global warming. They have the ability to reflect up to 80% of solar radiation, thus contributing to lower energy consumption for cooling buildings.

By analyzing the chromatic variations expressed in different regions and their astonishing diversity, CHROMATIC® offers a new vision for the coloring of facades. The 10 color palettes proposed by PPG CHROMATIC® designers highlight the particularities of each region, taking into account its climate.

They exalt the facades in a new approach because they come from the study of the characteristic atmospheres of our regions and the chromatic effects created by light at different times of the day. Thus, the architecture adopts chromatic values derived from an innovative approach where the colors of the facade and all its components blend with those of its environment to integrate completely or play on balanced contrasts.

Light and climate strongly influence the architecture, which is imbued with these contrasts and embraces the play of colors. Each palette is accompanied by the proposal of an “armochromie” composition, which constitutes a recommendation for applying the color to the elements of the facade.

In this search for harmony and contrasts, according to regional identities, the facades (walls and gables) spontaneously adopt neutral shades, enhanced with bright or dark colors in the details (woodwork, baseboards, doors, shutters, railings, ironwork, etc.), or on the contrary, assert themselves with deep colors tempered by soft and light nuances.

With Outside Unlimited Colors® (OUC®) Technology, our professional customers can fully express their creativity on their façade projects with a wide range of colors, from light to dark shades. Using OUC® technology to formulate bright and dark shades on façades limits heat absorption and reduces the heating of the building envelope.
